Cars hold a long lasting attraction for a great many people. All comers from enthusiasts to sentimentalists will take great delight from the vehicles on display. We must thank all the owners of these vehicles for looking after and renovating such lovely cars for our enjoyment and pleasure and for bringing them to our event.
The memories and adoration felt by many of us when walking around these cars, can only be created when many fine vehicles are assembled in one place. We will have over 300 vehicles on display, supporting the show and the charities it aims to benefit. We were touched by the kindness and enthusiasm for the event by all entrants and would like to thank them for their continued support.
Classic cars are one of the real attractions at the Euston Rural Pastimes Event. The sparkle, sheer number and variety of these wonderful machines is exceptional.
Classic means over 25 years old and Vintage built before 1931. The earliest car entered at present is a 1920 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost, with many other makes including Armstrong Sidley, Triumph, Lotus, Morris, Wolseley, Scimitar. Cars are parked at their allocated "Peg numbers" so they can be identified in the programme. Around midday there is a Classic Car parade in the Grafton Ring, which is near to the main park gates for Euston Hall.
We welcome a large variety of Classic Car Clubs from all over East Anglia. These include, Brandon Classic Cars, Broadland MG Owners, East Anglian Practical Classics, MG Owners, Naylor Cars, Norfolk Austin Seven Club, North Norfolk Classic Vehicles, Phoenix Cherished Vehicle Club, Rolls Royce Enthusiasts, Stag Owners, Suffolk Vehicle Enthusiasts, Wymondham Old Timers, the Roadster Fun Group, Jaguar Enthusiasts, the Daimler & Lanchester Owners as well as many others.
